Ready to go! A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and team at Moonlight Trust who have been packing our Bags of Blessings for the homeless this winter. Each bag contains survival items for winter and has been designed and customised with the requirements of our homeless brothers and sisters. The homelessness crisis worsens by the day and it is estimated that there are up to 5,000 rough sleepers on a usual day and that this Christmas, more than 200,000 individuals, and families will face some form of homelessness.
Moonlight Trust pledges to support the homeless and vulnerable, and we stand in solidarity with those that struggle daily to make ends meet. One of the ways in which we are supporting the vulnerable is through our partnership with One Community’s new program of support called ‘Match It.’ This is a unique opportunity where One Community will match every donation over the next 3 months from 1st November to 31st January.
Your donation will have twice the impact, helping us purchase our winter appeal survival packs for the homeless and vulnerable!
All donations must have the reference ‘Match It’ for us to take benefit of the match funding.
