A huge congratulations to Noushin Raja, our founder, and CEO of Moonlight Trust, on winning "Muslim Woman of the Year”, the prestigious Noory Inayat Khan Award at the British Muslim Awards!
Among some of the most innovative professionals and businesses from the Muslim community, awarded for their fantastic achievements and drive, Noushin was awarded for her charitable work in supporting the needy, and especially in aiding refugees across the world.
Moonlight Trust was borne out of a personal tragedy and Noushin’s burning desire to provide justice for some of the world’s most vulnerable individuals. It is the raw determination and hope that Noushin has poured into all her work that has inspired thousands of people across the country, and the world.
Over 200 volunteers have contributed to Moonlight Trust’s mission to alleviate poverty, illness, and social justice, and over 70,000 lives have been impacted by the work we do. None of this would be possible without our supporters, volunteers, and Noushin and her vision for a better world.
