Over 40% of the population in Pakistan is living below the poverty line and the dire situation has only worsened with the impact of Covid-19.
It sounds horrific and that is because it is. In Pakistan, the majority of families in the poorest areas depend on daily income to get by and the lockdown means they are earning very little and often, nothing.
Moonlight Trust has once again pledged to support Pakistan’s poorest, and we ask our supporters to offer their donations. With £40, we can feed a family of 4 for 1 month and continue to make a difference where it matters the most, and with the help of a database developed by SeedOut, we can target some of the neediest.
