As part of Refugee Awareness Week, we would like to share some of the most beautiful moments of our first international refugee aid mission in Gaza, in 2015. It was a cold winter, reaching lows of -5 degree Celsius, and we had received an urgent request for blankets after the war; most families were sleeping on top of the remaining rubble and we were shocked to see the devastation that many lived amongst.
Palestinians remain one of the largest number of misplaced people around the world and there are currently 79 million displaced people who are facing another challenge in the form of Covid-19.
